Update on Emab Plaza bomb blast, 21 reported dead, 17 seriously injured.

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, has confirmed that 21 people died this afternoon when a bomb went off at the very busy Emab Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja. He also confirmed that 17 people were seriously injured and have been taken to Maitama District Hospital, Gwarimpa hospital, Wuse hospital, Garki hospital and National hospital.

Mr Mba said one suspect has been arrested and investigations have already started. The bomb is said to have gone off in a car as it passed through the gate of the mall around 4 this afternoon. The fire that followed the explosion is said to have damaged most cars parked outside of the mall.

Security Forces have condoned off the scene of the blast, while the Police Bomb Disposal Squad has commenced post-blast analysis as part of the general investigative process, according to a statement.

The attack is believed to have been carried out by a suicide bomber though there are other conflicting reports from some eye-witnesses that a man on a bike threw the explosive and sped off. Though no group has claimed responsibility for this attack, we all can kinda guess who they might be.. BOKO HARAM!!. See more shots below...

Explosion reported at popular Emab Plaza in Abuja, at least 6 killed

They are now targeting malls? Dear Lord, help us ohh! People who live in the area have reported an explosion at popular Emab Plaza on Aminu Kano Crescent in Wuse 2, Abuja, which happened just a few minutes ago around 4pm. Someone tweeted this pic above supposedly from the explosion. The explosion is said to have occurred at the gate of the very busy plaza and six people have been confirmed dead with at least 15 people injured...

Sudanese woman, Meriam Ibrahim, arrested again at the airport

Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese woman who was freed yesterday June 23rd after months of being in detention for marrying a Christian and denouncing her Muslim faith has been re-arrested by security officials at the Khartoum Airport located in Sudan...

The young man pictured above named Sharafadeen, who works in a carwash was allegedly pushed from a motorcycle in front of AP station Gberigbe along Ikorodu General Hospital on June 22nd by a police officer attached at the Igbogbo Divisional Head Quarter along Igbogbo Road Barracks. The guy is currently receiving treatment at another friend's house.

The DPO at the Igbogbo police station was contacted about the incident but nothing has been done about it yet though a police source said the guy plied on restricted road. Oh, poor dude!.

Plane flying to Gabon missing..

A four-seater plane flying from Nigeria to Gabon via Cameroon has gone missing. The plane, owned by US company, Global Aviation, took off from Kano Airport around 6pm yesterday Monday June 23rd and was billed to make a stop over at Doula Cameroon before continuing to Gabon to arrive at 11pm but it never arrived at Doula, Cameroonian Aviation authorities have said. Only one American pilot was on-board...

Such a waste. What a fine specimen of a man!!! Nate Estimada, one of the stars of male revue and E! reality movie 'Men of the Strip' (male stripping), committed suicide on Wednesday June 18th by driving his car off a cliff, TMZ reports
The 24-year old reportedly drove his Mustang in a mountainous area near the City of Industry in L.A. County during the daytime and accelerated off a high cliff, dropping at least 40 ft. into a landfill.
Authorities have determined the plunge was intentional and they're conducting toxicology tests to determine if drugs were in Estimada's system. See more of his photos below...
