HEARTBREAKING!! Parents Beat Child To Death In Lagos For Playing On Children’s Day, Agege, Lagos state.

On Children’s Day while children were being celebrated worldwide, a Lagos-based couple allegedly chose to beat their little son to death for playing with friends.
Area residents told reporters on Wednesday that the couple allegedly killed their son because he was complaining of hunger after he finished playing with his friends.
Mr Paul Obiefule and his wifey, Onyedikachi Mbanozo allegedly killed the little boy at their home at 22, Omitola street in Agege area of Lagos state Nigeria.
The 12-year-old boy was beaten to death around 2:30pm on Children’s Day.
The couple’s neigbhour, Mukaila Maliki said the boy had in the past been beaten to a coma and had to be hospitalised for a month.
“Paul Obiefule was arrested by policemen from Railway Police Station, Agege, and interrogated in connection with the beating of little Onydikachi, for a week before he was released during that first incident,” said Maliki.
An eyewitness said the couple beat the boy to coma on Monday and took him to the hospital after he fainted.
On Tuesday morning, suspicious neighbours asked about the whereabout of the little boy, his mother said the deceased was inside the room. When questioned further, she alleged that the deceased was discharged the previous night.
Sensing that something did not just add up to the story they were being told about the boy, the neighbours promptly alerted the police.
When police got to the couple’s home, they found the dead body of the little boy under the bed.
Police immediately arrested them and took the corpse of the boy to the station.
Lagos Police Spokeswoman, Ngozi Braide who confirmed the incident said the couple has been arrested and they’re currently being investigated in detention.
